Baraboo Circus Bash is a festival that encourages a wide variety of audience members to attend. It is located in Baraboo Wisconsin, a place rich in American Circus history. The festival offers several different workshops from classes for aspiring artist to expand their horizons to intro level basics for beginners. The approach I took when designing for this prompt was very modern compared to traditional circus branding. To target our main audience the design includes use of acrobatic and dynamic silhouettes of circus acts to entice performers. The color palette consists of bright and bold colors to catch the audiences attention particularly the children, and show the vibrant fun energy of the circus. The use of wavy lines throughout the add dynamics like those you would see in a circus performance and guide the viewers eye. The design is based on how the circus makes people feel such as uplifted, energetic, and excited.
